Overview:
Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC) was selected as the only California site to participate in a national study sponsored by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). This study, CTN-0100, is being conducted at 18 sites throughout the United States to better understand how to help patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

What is the purpose of this study?
This study is designed to improve treatment for individuals on medications for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). The main aims are to test strategies to help patients stay in treatment longer and to help patients who wish to discontinue their medication for OUD.
Am I Eligible?
You may be eligible if you:
- Have an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
- Are at least 18 years old
What is Involved?
- 1 Screening visit
- 24 In-Person visits (over 1.5 years)
- Medication for OUD
- Medical Management visits
- Access to a Phone App* with lessons to help with your recovery
*Offered to 50% of participants
- 3 Follow-Up visits (over six months)
- There is no cost to you for any aspects of treatment, including the medication, doctor visits or the phone app.
Will I Be Compensated?
Yes, you will be compensated in the form of gift cards for completing specific study-related visits.
