Beyond the full array of medical services that Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC) offers at our five clinic locations, TTC also provides specialty services related to HIV / AIDS and Hepatitis C. Although STD testing and diagnostic services are offered at each location, some of the treatment-oriented services are only offered at specific locations.
HIV / AIDS Services
At locations in the San Fernando Valley and the Antelope Valley in Palmdale and Lancaster, TTC offers HIV / AIDS services for both HIV-infected and HIV-affected clients. This array of specialty services includes vital health education, nutritional consulting, and treatment strategies for an improved and extended quality of life. Our HIV / AIDS medical services include STD screening, Pap Smear, and comprehensive medical care, including case management and support services. Our goal is to help every patient get back to living the fullest life they can.
Hepatitis C / HCV
TTC screens all patients for risk factors for exposure to the Hepatitis C virus (HCV). Moreover, patients who are at risk receive a rapid test. If they test positive, these patients are counseled and offered a confirmatory test. Once that test comes back, if needed, they are referred to treatment. With experience with most insurance providers, TTC underlines the importance of helping patients find coverage. In fact, Medicare, Medi-Cal and most private insurance plans provide HCV treatment free of charge or with modest copays.
