Domestic Violence Supportive Services
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Domestic Violence Supportive Services is a program designed to assist participants who have a domestic violence barrier to employment. The program provides intensive individual, group and family-focused case management. The program offers the following services:
* Case Management Services
* Childcare/Youth Activity Services
* Services as Needed:
- Individual, group, and family Counseling.
- Support Groups.
- Life Skills Education Services.
- Domestic Violence Education Classes.
- Shelter Bed Night Services (CalWORKs Participants Only)
- Translation/Interpreter Services
- Referral to Legal Services.
PROGRAM CRITERIA
The Domestic Violence Supportive Services is a program for Individuals who are now or have been in the past a victim of domestic violence by a current or former spouse or intimate partner.
The eligible population for Domestic Violence Supportive Services includes the following:
- CalWORKS WTW Participants
- GR/GROW Participants
- Battered Non-Citizen Participants.
- Residents of Los Angeles County eligible for DPSS services at the time of registration in the program.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
The duration of the program is based upon the needs of the participant.

Open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No appointment needed.
