Hence, it is no surprise that Newsweek and Statista included three TTC sites in their 2024 rankings of America’s Best Treatment Centers. Once again, TTC shows it is possible to provide quality services and universal access to diverse populations needing help. Indeed, beyond cost questions, TTC focuses on saving lives by offering services to adults and youth in crisis.

TTC = One of America’s Best Treatment Centers

As detailed on the TTC website’s home page, Tarzana Treatment Centers underlines the importance of providing affordable and accessible integrated healthcare. Thus, TTC integrates its primary medical and behavioral healthcare programs by providing whole-person healthcare. Given such integration, it is unsurprising that TTC is in Newsweek’s rankings. At the same time, it is an honor for Newsweek and Statista to recognize TTC’s impact on our community. Hence, TTC appreciates the acknowledgment of our excellent work.

As the Newsweek website details, “To help patients and their loved ones find the most suitable places to begin their recoveries, Newsweek partnered with Statista for the fifth edition of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers. The ranking awards 400 inpatient, long-term and residential addiction treatment centers in the 25 states where these facilities are most numerous.”

Criteria for the Newsweek Treatment Center Rankings

According to Nancy Cooper, Newsweek’s Global Editor in Chief, the criteria for the Newsweek and Statista rankings are as follows:

  1. SAMHSA Accreditation Data
  2. Reputation surveys from medical professionals and administrators in the field
  3. Google reviews to measure patient experience.

Given such a balanced approach, TTC greatly values being part of the rankings. Moreover, such rankings reveal the balance of TTC’s perception in the treatment industry. Beyond Joint Commission recognition, treatment professionals and former patients regard TTC positively. Most importantly, such inclusion helps TTC continue its mission of giving back and saving lives in our greater community. Without question, TTC’s efforts are about successfully realizing the organization’s mission.
